Exploring the dialogue between architectural structure and material expression, the PINKIR_ chair II brings together the grounded warmth of mutene wood and the tactile presence of chamotte stoneware.
The solid wood frame features exposed crossover joinery extending past the intersections, establishing a crisp, openwork geometry. Suspended within this wooden grid, a substantial glazed ceramic block forms the seat. Multi-layered glazes yield shimmering, dusty rose and violet tones that create a vivid visual and textural counterpoint to the timber frame.
Positioned at the intersection of functional furniture and sculpture, the PINKIR_ chair II is a unique piece celebrating refined craftsmanship, ceramic experimentation, and contemporary form.
The PINKIR_ Chair II was shown for the first time during LDW26.
